I have the dog leg pieces solidly welded in. This area still needs to be cleaned up a little and sealed.

The pieces of the left rear inner wheel well pieces are spot welded in.

The patch panels in the rear inner wheel well are now solidly welded in.

Test fitting the fender to make sure everything matches up. Also, using the fender to mark the position of the hidden nuts to use to fasten the fender.

Homemade hidden nut-I made this out of a piece 3/4" square tube and a square nut. I could have bought reproduction nuts from a couple of vendors for $1.65 a piece but I need to replace everyone in the car, 30 in all. I'm cheap and I also like making whatever parts I can.

Driver's side front rock panel.

Had a nice mouse nest. Fortunately, the residents were gone. Hopefully they moved out before I brought the body into my shop.

Patch panel welded in.

Cut out the rusted section.

New patch panel made and ready to be welded in.

Patch welded in, welds look a littel boogery. I welded 4 hidden nuts behind the panel before welding it in.

Welds ground smooth.
