This is the package I received this morning via
USPS. The packing was very impressive.
I bought this tank, the nice silver one, on eBay
for $117, including shipping. The seller sent me dimensions of the tank before I bought
it, they were close to the dimensions of the old rusty tank. I was very pleasantly
surprised to find that the tank had the exact dimensions of the stock tank. I have to
cut and rotate the filler tube to get it in the correct position. This is a brand new,
never used tank. I think I got a pretty good deal.

This is my next project, the rear passenger
size dogleg and wheel well.
This is the rear part of the wheel well.
the metal in the floor and seat support were
rusted through. Cut out the rust and welded in new metal.
The rear seat support was rusted away.
Cut out the rust and welded in new metal.
Here are the pieces I made to repair the rocker
panel for the right rear door.
Had to cut a little rotted metal out, the entire
dog leg.
Tack weld the new pieces in. Shut the door and
make sure the door closes.
Weld the new patches in.
There were multiple pieces that had to be made so
the tack rope for the upholstery can be inserted.
It's nice to have the body on the rotisserie.
Tack weld the 1/2" conduit bead.
Weld in the back half of the fender mounting lip.
Tacked and welded in the center section of the wheel
well. I had to make a separate piece and tack welded it in a few spots so I could
locate the front fender mounting holes, then removed, welded in the hidden nuts and then
welded in the piece.
All wheel well pieces welded in.
Test fit the fender. It took a little work but
it looks like it fits pretty decent.
