The trunk parts I salvaged from my original
repairs on the original Buick weren't perfect and left a gap between the tool
tray and the trunk floor.

Made a filler piece and welded it in.
|
Cleaned up the trunk opening lip.
|
|
|
|
|
Straightened the bottom of the trunk pan
and added a lip like the original.
|
Welded the seams in the trunk from the bottom.
|
The front passenger side rocker panel was spongy
and had pin holes on the side and bottom, front to back.
|
|
|
|
|
Cut open the rocker and found this. Must been
the dining room for a family of mice.
|
Cut and tack weld in replacement panels.
|
Solid weld in the patch panels.
|
Moving on to the front right cowl.
|

Cut out the the rotted metal.

Made more hidden nuts, welded them in and test fit
the rear fender. Looks pretty good. The passenger side is ready to blast, I hope, unless
I find more holes.
