In the beginning

This page has pictures of my 1937 Buick Special.

The trunk parts I salvaged from my original repairs on the original Buick weren't perfect and left a gap between the tool tray and the trunk floor.

Made a filler piece and welded it in.

Cleaned up the trunk opening lip.

Straightened the bottom of the trunk pan and added a lip like the original.

Welded the seams in the trunk from the bottom.

The front passenger side rocker panel was spongy and had pin holes on the side and bottom, front to back.

Cut open the rocker and found this. Must been the dining room for a family of mice.

Cut and tack weld in replacement panels.

Solid weld in the patch panels.

Moving on to the front right cowl.

Welded the bottom of the passenger rocker panel.

Made more hidden nuts, welded them in and test fit the rear fender. Looks pretty good. The passenger side is ready to blast, I hope, unless I find more holes.
